I feel stupid right now.

I set myself the following problem last night and it has only just dawned on me how to do it.

Pete, Jon, Bill and Susan play a game where the best player always wins.

Pete beats Jon
Susan beats Bill

in the final Pete beats Susan.

What are the odds that Susan is the 2nd best player.
What are the odds that Jon is the worst player.

Edit: 2/3 for the first and 1/3 for the second, I read the question wrong.

so the probability susan is the 2nd best is 2/3.
the probability jon is the worst is 1/3.
