new york casinos or card rooms?

are there casinos in new york? i'm looking around albany, ny, and also new york city.

Turning Stone has a cardroom, though I haven't been there in awhile. It's a very nice hotel in Upstate NY, 30 miles north of Syracuse. As for New York City, there seem to be private clubs I know nothing about....and Atlantic City NJ is only a coupla hours from NYC (Taj, Trop).

There are two cardrooms I know of in the city but you need to know people to get it. Very good games so try to meet someone in AC or somewhere else that can help you get in.
