How about betting out on the turn and trying for a check-raise on the river if no flush comes?

Just keep firing away, on a board like that he's bound to have a piece anyway. Maybe he'll come back at you and you can 3bet.

bet the turn and pray he raises so you can 3 bet

I don't like to go for the check raise on the river here as he may just check behind with some hands that he will call with and you miss a bet. If a spade falls, check call the river. (I know some may think this is weak but if he is aggressive you may induce a bluff here as well)

Bet and hope he has AJ AT or the idiot end of the straight on the board.

Bet again..... when playing HU, going for a check-raise is a difficult proposition unless you know your oppponent is aggressive enough to bet behind your check. Should you check-raise the turn, though, I think he'll either check behind on the river or fold to your bet, so even if you DO check-raise the turn, you're more than likely to get the same amount of bets from him as if you bet, and got called on the turn and river... also, you wnat to charge him for a draw if he has one, and you either get 1 or 3 bets here on the turn, or 0 or 2. Bet out (cap the turn if possible), and bet out again on the river, calling a raise should the 3rd spade come.
