I offerd to help Rick with the first BOSS tourny, but he suggested I might setup the next one instead. He said he does not want to setup the next one. I would be willing to to do it if there is enough interest for it. If anyone else really wants to set it up that would be fine with me too.

Who is interested in making this a monthly event?

If there is enough support for this the best plan might be to setup all the tournys at once. Something like the 2nd or 3rd Sunday of every month.

Some things to consider.

When to have it, and best time of day for everyone.
What the the buyin should be.
Keep the requirements to enter. (i.e. 25 SS posts)
Have an overall champ based on combined tourny results.
Have some payout for said champ.

All comments, thoughts, suggestions appreciated.

I think we should continue it, I would prefer once every three months or so. If it is monthly, I will participate, but if it is less often, I would make it a priority when it happened.

I like the sunday night time slot that we used before.

20 or 30 dollar buy in is fine.

In addition to 25 small stakes posts, I think micro limit posts should also count.

I vote for $20 and every other month.

I like every other month also since it allows me to keep "Reigning BoSS" in my signature longer. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Im interested but am staying totally on the fence. I like what the others said and I like either two or three month intervals, every month would be to much.

So as "War Chief" or something for this Zoo Rumble, you got a plan? /images/graemlins/cool.gif

Bi-Monthly
Sunday
$20 buyin
25 SS or Micro posts

Would 8:00 EST be a good time?

Please feel free to add anything else.

Every other month is fine. We don't want to turn this into a KotZ event where the King reigns for 7 days.

Peace,

This is perfect, IMO.

BTT.

Are we still ok with this plan?

Any chance you can switch it to Party poker?

Ack ... I'd rather stay on true than play a tourney on Party.

Well I think True would be a real bad idea, but Party? Is that any better?

I don't have any $ in Stars, it's about the only place I don't, but isn't it a far better option?
We're not really all that bothered about getting extra dollars added are we?
I mean, for all the hassle of playing at True it just isn't worth it if it's anything less than a Freeroll.

And I also think every 2 months is ideal.

From what I understand, Stars isn't willing to run any new private tournaments. True may be the only option.

Gee - you mean they don't want to risk ~100 JoeTalls for a net wash/loss in the best case scenario?

I'm shocked.

Gawd that's a shame.

I'd love to play it at UB, but when Rick asked them for the last BOSS they weren't ready to run private Tournies. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Does Party even offer Private tourneys? If so I'm sure we can expect exactly 0 support.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Paradise to start offering private tourneys if we can't get Stars to hook us up.

Paradise would definitely be great too.

I've barely played there but their software has always been solid as a rock.

True, again, would make my brain melt.

Anyone consider asking Gaming Club? There has to be anyone better than True.

I think Choice Poker would make some efforts to accommodate us. They are still so small that they would most likely be very happy to have our business.

Everyone could sign up and get a refer a friend bonus through me. If there's interest I'd be happy to ask them if they'll give some kind of extra bonus to new players signing up through me.

I gave up on the gaming clug after the awful WSOP seat tourney.
