I was wondering if anyone with experience in Foxwoods and Atlantic City could tell me where the easiest hold'em games are. Pretty much limited to The Taj, Tropicana, and Foxwoods...5-10 and under. Thanks in advance.

I've only played at Foxwoods three times on the weekends. I played 2-4, and 3-6 with a half kill(I think). The games were super soft everytime, loose -passive with one or two good players. I did well.

I play at foxwoods. For low limit, they spread a 2/4 and a 4/8, which vary a lot in character, although are pretty loose (sometimes extremely loose) on weekends. Mohegan Sun has a 3/6. If you can get to Foxwoods, you can assuredly get there also since the two are so close.

Personally, I like the 5-10 at the Trop, especially on weekends. FW and MS seem to attract the rocks. I've played at Taj occasionally at higher limits, but there seem to be more regulars in the LL games there, which makes it a tougher game -- no collusion, just a familiarity between players that makes it tougher for an "outsider" to break in. I think you can make money at the Trop, even at 5-10.

I don't know about AC. But you should stay away from the 5-10 (with a kill) at Foxwoods, it can be realy tough for this level. On the other hand, the 4-8 at Foxwoods is just great, several realy weak and timid players. If you play agressively you should do well.

I have to recommend the Foxwoods 5-10 w a kill as my favorite casino game. First of all, it has many characteristics of a higher limit game (more aggressive), but it also has the basic bankroll requirements of a low-limit game. Also, the varying limits really break up the monotony and make you think. Good players in this game are able to vary their play accordingly.

In short, it is a very good game to "break-in" at the higher levels. It is fun for the low-limit casual player get a feel for some of the higher limit concepts.

The game can be aggressive. When it is, it kills frequently. As a result, you are spending much of your time playing in an aggressive $10/20 game. I would not describe such a game as having the bankroll requirements of a passive low limit game at all. However, I agree that it can be a good game for someone transitioning from low to middle limits. btw, mohegan also spreads a $5/10 full kill game.
