Playing $3/6 when on the button im already in for the big blind($3). Does this mean i should be calling more raises or raising more myself? (Assuming i have a hand)

I haven't played like this but I assume you mean the button is forced to post a bet equal to the big blind, and that bet is live.

You should call more raises, with certain hands, because you are getting better pot odds. Hands like small pairs, suited connectors, and the like. However you must be careful not to call raises with stuff like KJo, the pot odds are not worth being dominated.

Although you must be conscious of players to your right who will be attacking the blinds trying to get all that money. Then you might be forced to call with hands like KJo. But you have to know your player.

And yes you should attempt more steal because you are getting MUCH better odds than a regular blind steal attempt.
