i play shorthanded and full tables, but online mostly 6 max.. i think that it's more profitable, as it's easier to take advantage of weak players.. but with that added profitability comes increased variance. if you have a proper bankroll to handle the swings i say go for it.

the difference is obvious, you have to play more hands so you don't get eaten up by the blinds.. also you have to be more aggressive with the hands you play.. there are many discussions on proper shorthanded strategy and you could probably unearth a goldmine by searching through the archives.
