I'd love to hear an answer to this also. When I saw the title, I thought I would explain about the blackhawk casinos. I would love to find a place I can play higher than 5/5 in CO (and save a 50 min. drive).

If you guys are regular players in the mountains, I would think you would already know about the rooms in Denver. They play 10-20, sometimes 20-40 and higher, and PL (Omaha). Try asking some of the older players you play with at the Hyatt or at the Lodge. You will need an introduction before you will be allowed in the private rooms.

A word of warning: These rooms are known for drugs, cheating, fighting, and sometimes they get robbed and or busted.

But it's still possible to have a good time and make a profit. You just have to be very careful and pay attention to everything. I think it's easier to hop a plane to a legal establishment, especially with the airfare deals on the internet.

hmmm, i've been told of some rooms that are a bit sketchy. i was hoping to find a room that i could feel safe playing at, and that is well run.

my thinking is if they know about these rooms, there's not much to bring em up to blackhawk, except for the badbeat jackpot. unless these rooms are super sketchy, and they don't like the atmosphere.

anyways, i'll ask around, thanks.
