Seeing as it happened to me twice tonight in the party 15/30 what are the odds of losing to runner runner quads?

This is a regular occurrence: you should remember it's
989-1 against your opponent hitting two perfect cards to
beat you. I have sufferred it before a few times, and if
you play long enough, you'll see it dozens of times! The
key number to keep in mind is 990, the total number of
combinations of turn and river cards with four cards taken
out of the deck (your hand and the opponent's hand), which
is a very convenient number, being so close to 1000 that you
could easily compute the chances of your opponent beating
you on one of those ridiculous hands!

See my post in microlimits for where my (folded) runner runner quads lost to a straight flush. How often does that happen?
