Because you can see the flop most of the time for only $2, does this mean you can loosen up a little on starting hand selection.

It depends on the table. Generally as stated in ToP, the smaller the blind, the tighter you should play. However, if you can get in cheap and get a good pay off if you hit you can play more hands.

In this game you mostly get to see the flop for $2 which I would think make playing many more hands profitable.

What about playing Ax suited and Kx suited from middle onwards?


Because the payoff is often in the $40-$80 range are there enough odds to play those types of hands cosidering that when

they do hit you will have the nuts most of the time?

Read that post. Your "implied" odds are very much a function of how you can expect the hand to be played out. Axs and Kxs aren't very good if you can expect only one opponent when you DO make the flush draw.


But the more loose action you can expect then the better your implied odds are for suited hands and small pairs and so the more you should play them.
