Hand 1

Preflop - This shouldn't be a routine coldcall. You'd prefer to have another coldcaller or two before the action gets to you. If the table is very loose, however, it's an okay call.

River - This is a very easy bet. EP1 will pay you off with a ton of hands. Once in a while he'll have a 6 and will check-raise you, but he will pay you off with a worse hand much, much more often.

Hand 2

Preflop - Don't open-limp with Axs from EMP unless the table is incredibly loose-passive.

Postflop - Played it fine, dems da breaks.

Hand 3

Postflop - Yes, fold to the raise against most opponents. Also, against some players checking to induce a bluff is a better play.

Hand 4

Preflop - Fold

Turn - Raise

Hand 4

Preflop - Fold

Turn - Raise

Why raise the turn? You don't have the best hand and all you've got is the gutshot draw as far as I can see.

It's a sophisticated move that no one but me understands.

Actually, I'm lysdexic so I postransed the turn and river cards.

Homer--Curious if you would have called a check raise here? My guess is EP1 was attempting to check-raise on river.

It really depends on who my opponent is. I'll always call against an unknown.

My guess is EP1 was attempting to check-raise on river.

Why? What makes you think that EP1 rivered a straight? There are tons of other hands he could have as well.

I said that after looking at the results; EP1 happened to have 77.
