$2 - 4 Spread Limit Strategy

I have played in this spread limit game only 1 time and I'm on my way there Saturday night for my second run at it. I got my butt whooped.


Is it a fact that in this game I can play very loose before the flop? I watched a couple of dealers play before their shifts and it seems that they had very loose starting standards, but cleaned up some phat pots when the went to the river.


Also, what other strategies can I employ to make sure I take home the goods in this game?

not enough info. we need to know blinds/antes, minimum bets; max # of raises; # of people playing, etc.

hmmm. if you are playing 2-4 and speculating about loose starting hands, you obviously haven't read and studied any required poker reading. i'd suggest reading the required reading by the famous authors before going back to the table.
