I am making my trip to vegas tomorrow and have been searching through the archives in hopes of trying to find this info, but unable to. Anyways I was just wondering for all you Vegas regs where the best 4/8 to 10/20 games are in vegas. I would like most to play 6/12, but might want to play higher or lower. I also have a buddy very new to the game and he would also like to play although I don't feel comfortable sticking him in anything much higher than 4/8. Thanks in advance.

Most of the Station Casinos (http://www.stationcasinos.com/) spread a variety of Hold'Em, Stud and Omaha limits. The Sunset Station has Hold'Em in $2-$4, $3-$6-$9 and $4-$8 1/2 kill varieties.

The Orleans also spreads a lot of different games from $2-$4 on up.

For 6/12 The Mirage is by far the place to go with Madalay Bay second. these are the only two places I know that spread 6/12. MB's is a 1/2 kill game, and it doesn't go every day. Most LV games are smaller and most of the poker rooms (at least on the strip and downtown) are also small. Mirage, Bellagio, MB and Orleans (Binions if it's open) are the only rooms that spread games bigger than 4/8. MB has I think 9 tables and often doesn't have a game bigger than 4/8. The Mirage generally has lots of 6/12 games going.

Hi SGS,

I'm a $6-$12 or $8-$16 player myself. The Bellagio spreads $4-$8 and $8-$16 only. I haven't been to the Mirage yet (going in a couple of weeks), but it seems like they have $6-$12 and $10-$20 there. From what the posters told me a couple days ago, Mirage has a $3-$6 for the newbies.

I got on the board at the Palms before for the $4-$8, but after an hour or so, I gave up. They have $2-$4 there also, but it's like a shoebox there. Good luck!
