Horrible lag on Party?

Has anyone else had this problem? This is a relatively new phenomenon for me (started a few weeks ago) and it seems to hit mostly in the evenings (around 8 PST). It's so bad that I basically can't play...I get timed out before I can act.

I don't think it's a technology issue. I have a decent DSL connection. My laptop is a few years old but it's got a 475 MHz processor and 192 MB of RAM. And my hard disk has a few hundred megs of memory free, if that's relevant...

Is there anything I can do or is it time to go to UB?

30,000 users online....obviously that extra shitload of cash they are making from the rake increase isnt going towards improving their servers....it isnt going to support either. someone must have a very phat pocket.

yea, happening to me right now. i signed up for the 50 dollar multi table tournment....... and never even got to play in it because of the lag... still didn't start a half hour later

yes very annoying but Paradise also is having problems tonite

I've noticed that the biggest lag happens on the hour every hour in the evening. Lately they have had many more multi tourneys running, I assume that a 30+3 NL multi with over 1,000 players at 10 PM eastern is a big part of the problem, not to mention the fact that they are consistently pulling over 30K these days.

Yea - happens ALL the time - just locks up for 5 seconds every hand! I hear the cards but don't see them.
