my first real money sit/go (NLHE), i have played about 10 for points and have placed in 7 of them

second level so blinds are 10/20
I have stack of 1000

Im in LMP with 7s9s and limp after 3 other limpers
Co limps, button folds, and both blinds call

Flop: Td 9d 9c (two diamonds)

checked to me, i bet pot, CO calls, BB calls, everyone else folds (i have both covered slightly, they were both around 900 before hand started)

Turn: Tc
checked around (should i pot it again?)

River: Kh
BB pushes all in

I call (worst call ever?), CO folds

Results: BB has KK and cleans me out
I go all in next hand w/ ATs and and out 8th

Any comments on how this should have been played or reasoning for calling river or folding who be appreciated

I see you're from San Francisco. Out of curiousity, where did you play?

thirddan,

Worst call ever?--nah.

Good call?--nah.

As I read your post I was fully prepared to see that you had lost your 9s full of 10s to 10s full of 9s, thinking the between the CO and the BB, one of them at least must have had a 10 to call your flop bet.

However, as questionable as your call may be, it doesn't hold a candle to the horror of the BB's play. If I count correctly, he checked KK TO 7 LIMPERS!!! That is beyond comprehension.

He got lucky this time, but oh my goodness.
