Foxwoods

Does anyone know of any inexpensive hotels near Foxwoods ? If you could post the names or phone numbers, it would be great!

Dirt Cheap --- Flagship in Groton (about 15-20 minute drive) -- last time I was there about $40-50 a night.


For about $70 you have a Best Western and Super 8 about a mile or so further away also in Groton.

There is a large Motel6 on the interstate (?I95) about 20 mi from Foxwoods I stayed there about a year ago for $40, I think.


It is equidistant from Foxwoods and the other casino (M?).

I stayed at Foxwoods and love the poker room there. I got the poker rate (this was a weekday) and the room rate was reasonable to me...it is an amazing resort...I think it was 137, so me and two buds payed 45 bucks apiece. Enjoyed all the amenities. As for cheap hotels nearby, I noticed when driving in there seemed to be a few semi-divey but cheap looking motels on the same road as Foxwoods...some like 45-50 a night. The proviso is I know nothing about these motels, but cheap is cheap.....

Thre is a little inn down on Route 2 a bit ( the road FW is on ) . I forgot the name but it isn't far from the casino. I would just do a search on the net for lodging in the area. ( although there isn't much thats really close )
