Just wanted to post a few hands from day 1.

level 3, blinds, 100/200, I have about 8,000.

Just moved to a new table and I open-raise UTG+2 with Q /images/graemlins/club.gifT /images/graemlins/club.gif to 850. Player on my immediate left makes it 2000. I think for a bit and call the 1150 more with a total of 3150 in the pot, is this a good call? I think he would make this re-raise with 88+, AQ, AK I think with this range of hands I'm safe calling here. Also, this is the first hand I've played, so I don't want to look like a pushover.

Flop comes Q93 with no flush draw. I check, he bets 2,000 and I call with the intention of folding on the turn if I don't improve and he bets. Turn is an 8, completing the rainbow. I check, he checks. River is a rag, I check, he checks, should I bet the river???

Hand 2: Level 4, blinds 100/200, 25 ante I have about 27,000.

UTG raises to 600, gets 3 cold calls, I call in the BB with K /images/graemlins/club.gifQ /images/graemlins/club.gif Flop comes J44 w/ one club. Everyone checks. Turn is the T /images/graemlins/club.gif I bet 3,000 and everyone except for the last cold-caller folds. He thinks a bit and calls. River: 8 /images/graemlins/spade.gif I bet 8,000, he has about 9,500 left and he mucks. Comments??

Right now, I have 35,100 in chips. We start today's action with a $50 ante and 150/300 blinds.
