This was from Party 2-4. Nothing out of the ordinary regarding my opponents.
I'm in the CO with 44.

EP limps, MP raises, LMP calls 2, I call 2, button calls 2, BB calls, EP calls.

6 to the flop (12 SB): 4 /images/graemlins/heart.gif10 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif6 /images/graemlins/heart.gif

BB checks, EP bets, MP folds, LMP raises, I flat call (planning on raising the turn), here's where it gets crazy. Button proceeds to 3 bet, BB calls 3 cold, and EP caps! All call.

Turn brings (4 /images/graemlins/heart.gif10 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif6 /images/graemlins/heart.gif)Q /images/graemlins/spade.gif

BB checks, EP bets, LMP calls, I call (?), button calls (all in), BB folds.

River brings (4 /images/graemlins/heart.gif10 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif6 /images/graemlins/heart.gif)Q /images/graemlins/spade.gif5 /images/graemlins/spade.gif

EP bets, LMP calls, I call.

Butcher job? Who raises the turn after all that flop aggression?

Here is the actual hand, results are at the bottom if anyone is interested.

Hey Pyite:

I generally would not cold call here pf, but I tend to be a bit tighter (weaker?) preflop than a lot of folks--I also suck at flopping sets /images/graemlins/grin.gif.

[ QUOTE ]
I flat call (planning on raising the turn),

I am fine with this plan, but you do not follow through. I do not think the buttons 3-bet and ep's cap changes anything. The button is almost all in (giving less credibility to his having a monster), and people will cap the flop TPTK, nut flush draw, overpair, 2 pair (unlikely on this board)--all of which you are ahead. Go ahead and raise here.

good job.

you collected the minimal on the turn and river. the pot shouldve been alot bigger.

cap the flop. this helps your odds should you end up behind on the turn to a flush. remember, you also have a drawing hand better than a flush. jam it.

i will never understand why people play a hand so that when they hit it, they wont bet it. i wouldnt be thinking im behind til im 3 bet on the turn.
