Per the usual, Party 6-max table ($5/$10). Very aggressive game, tougher than usual, but fun. However, my adversary in this hand (SB) is new to the table and I don't have any notes on him.

It's folded to the SB who just calls. I'm dealt J /images/graemlins/spade.gif J /images/graemlins/diamond.gif in the BB, and, having promised myself that I can do plenty well just by getting my bets in while I can, I raise. He calls.

Flop comes T /images/graemlins/heart.gif K /images/graemlins/spade.gif K /images/graemlins/diamond.gif. He checks, I bet, he 3-bets, I cap.

Turn is 6 /images/graemlins/spade.gif. He bets out, I raise, he calls.

River is 3 /images/graemlins/spade.gif. He bets, I call.

Obviously, I didn't give him credit for the set, for a few reasons:

- He just limped in.
- The raises he made were almost instantaneous, and my experience has usually been that means someone is trying to push you off a hand.
- Any self-respecting Party player would wait for the turn to c/raise. They shouldn't play that way, at least not all the time, but they do. Almost always.

So I didn't think he had a set ...
