just a question, where was the free meal to?

Free rooms aren't given for poker (for mid limits---75-150 and up may be an exception), but you can get the poker rate by calling the room and requesting it. This is $65 plus tax even on weekends, a huge discount over rack rates (sometimes $250 plus). The key is to call the poker room well in advance (esp during the summer). Other tactic is to just go to Taj early on a Saturday and go to the comp area (where u sign out of games) and ask if there are poker rooms available. If not, they will put u on the waiting list. Most of the time, you will get a room because people cancel...this has worked for me many times. BTW, once they screwed up and gave me a free room instead of discount....i had negative 65 comp dollars the next day lol. If you're at 10-20, we may see each other. I'm the 22 year old kid with the short brown hair and the button down shirt. I will be there this weekend.

I've never bothered to get a room, but I am curious if can you pay the poker rate with comp dollars? I've got well over a thousand of these racked up.

Yes, I believe that you can use your comp dollars to pay for a room! It's a great deal and even on busy weekends I find the last minute approach is best...show up early on Saturday and get on the waiting list (though I don't have enuf comps to cover a room usually, but I remember reading on the website that comp dollars could be used for room). You will probably get a room by the late evening. If you want to be sure, call 2-3 weeks in advance and book through the poker room. It is easier to get a room off season.

Free meal was to the Bombay Cafe. I think it is $2 hour @ 1020.
