Im in a friendly 50 NL game at Party. Lots of action, and everyone is joining into the conversation. I lose a hand on the river and jokingly say, "Ah, F--- it Im going all in next hand no mattter what cards I get". Well I am dealt coincidently, AA. I am UTG and push all-in for $110.
Three players call me with AJ A2 66. A pot worth $389.00, luckily my rockets hold up.

What a hand!

I'll have to try that sometime.

I assume you would not have gone all-in w/o the AA.

Perfect time to take advantage of the gullibility and stupidity of party players. Nice pot.

your play is substantially more profitable and fortuitous; however, I accidently pressed the wrong button on the turn today (check/call rather than check/fold) and I caught my gutshot straight draw /images/graemlins/grin.gif. As a form of mental penitence, I did not raise on the river.

Given the hands that called you, I'd say it's correct to go in with a much larger range of hands.

I certainly hope so.

Man.. that post-horrendous-suckout checkraise is the sweetest part of poker... no way I'd miss out on that. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
