View Full Version : KQo from MP - just a Pacific Poker PF question, not a hand

Usually, I'd open raise or raise in front of a limper all day long with this hand.

I just started playing pacific though, and I know that I am gonna get cold-called by any naked ace - A2s, A6o, they're all coming along. I can also be pretty sure that if we both miss the flop, and I bet out, they'll call me to the river (and if I check, they'll check behind and show down the winning A-high).

Does this mean I've lost the value of raising KQo PF, and should just limp with it and hope to hit? If I do this, it means that the pot is smaller, making it more -EV for them to draw to their longshots.

This seems to make sense to me at the moment, although I'm sure I could be persuaded otherwise.
