I posted this in Mid-High Stakes, but then found this new forum...
I need some advice about what and where to play back east for the upcoming year. I am currently living and playing in Northern California, but I have one more year of school back east.
I've played in a variety of places around the country at the low limits, but only moved into 9/18 and a dabble in 15/30 out here. I know from experience that California poker is significantly looser than Vegas, AC, Conn., etc. Thus, my concern is that winning out here at 1BB/hr in 9/18 would not necessarily translate to the same rate in 10/20 at the Taj, for example. (Maybe the 7.50-15 "pink" game at the Trop in AC?).
Any help/suggestions/advice are welcome from those who have a sense of the "exchange rate" between coasts.
