What is your position?

I would go with as few as 2 limpers for 1-7,14 and want 3 for 9-11,15. At least 4 for the rest. Of course I have a lot of leaks in my game so I would like to be corrected on the errors - I think I like suited cards too much.

What are the correct questions to ask yourself when considering a hand? /images/graemlins/confused.gif

The most important question of all! /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I looked at the list and said the exact same thing, and certainly didn't feel like typing out how many for each position! :P

Many of those hands are mucked in EP to MP, many require several limpers to you in MP to LP, some require no anticipation of raises behind you, others may be suitable for raising if you suspect callers behind you will call anyway.

Well, it depends /images/graemlins/smile.gif
On position, on how many players in the game, on whether or not you're in a steal position.

take KTo (which isn't even on your list). In a 10 handed game I'll muck more often than not, but might limp late (depending on how many limpers and from where), and will open raise in LP.

In a 5 handed (or less) game I'll open raise with it UTG, but in a short-handed game I'll open-raise a *very* high percentage of the time.

So "how many limpers" is a very open ended question.

I was asking generally bucause i play in weak micro games where i guess conservitavly on how many people will be in the hand besides me. I know the fear is getting rasied after limping but my games are pretty passive right now.

Lets just say i am on the button for each of these hands.

This is what I'd do, 0 means I'd play it for 1 bet on the button any day. Very unscientific and most likely incorrect, but discussion is the point of this board, right?
