Is there a chance to win 1 BB / h at the Party Poker tables playing only 1 table at a time, where the maximum rake can get as high as 3$, if you're playing well enough apart from that. Or is it already theoretically impossible, at a table, when the max rake can get as high as three quarters of a big bet.
Would it make more sense to start at least at 5/10 tables or what table limit would you suggest at least to make the "rake-effect" nearly neglectable?!

If you want the rake not to have any noticeable effect, try playing 30k/60k /images/graemlins/grin.gif.

Seriously, yes, the rake is a large factor at low limits but this is easily made up for by the fact that opponents at lower limits are usually weaker than higher limit opponents. There are many people on these forums who can (and do) beat multiple online 2/4 and 3/6 tables for 2BBs/hour, so it isn't impossible. Stick around, read these forums, really think about what is said and why, and really consider everything that happens at the tables. Don't start at 5/10, start much lower (.5/1 is Party's lowest limit) until you really have an excellent feel for the game, a lot of knowledge and a sufficient bankroll, then move up in limits.
