Got a question concerning rake with various currencies etc.
Posted at the Internet forum, but since the only guy that`s been answering doesn`t seem to understand my question, maybe someone from here can help me out.

For games where rake is 10% of the pot, and it NEVER reaches a cap, dollars, cents, pounds, pesos, it makes no difference. However, almost ANY game will become capped every once in a while. The game that caps it at the least amount when converted to the same unit will be the best when the % is the same.

This becomes a trickier issue if you have a 5% rake game capped at $5, or a 10% rake game capped at $3. You need to do a bit more calculations. The best way is to take the average rake per hour and compare that. This is not the average pot size converted to a rake. For instance, in a 10/20 game, the average pot size is rarely going to be below $60. Suppose the rake is $3 at 5%. The rake will almost always be less than $3 on average. However, the average pot size would be $3 rake.
