Where to play in MARYLAND

Hi I am looking for places to play in Maryland Washington D.C. Northern VA area....I cant drive up to play at the Taj all the time..

I'm in the same boat, I live in Northern VA and work in DC, but I don't think there is anywhere to play around here. Driving to the Taj is a pain, but I love going.


On a side note, I am going there this weekend, Saturday morning thru Monday night. 54 consecutive hours of Hold 'Em!

I plan on playing 3-6 and 5-10, maybe even 10-20.

I live in Baltimore and have found that the most convenient place to play is Paradise Poker. No long drive, smaller rake,no tipping and my dog sits by me for good luck. I make the occassional trip to AC and Vegas(4-6 times per year) and enjoy them. But until Maryland approves live Poker which seems highly unlikely with the bluenoses in the legislature I am content to play at Paradise.

Yeah I just came back from the Taj. Sunday - Wednesday. Played 50 out of 60 hours at 5-10. Pulled in 1200...


I find online poker less appealing although it is just as addicting. Tells are different and Collusion is rampant. I have never found any collusion in live casino poker..


I still wish we could play around here....Given that they wont even allow slots in our racetracks chances of us ever getting legal poker in the next 25 years are slim to none.

I'm going to the Taj this weekend, I'm leaving tomorrow morning. I didn't know you could rake in that much money playing 5-10! I can usually do pretty well playing 3-6 but I'm not as comfortable when I sit 5-10.
