So I decided to try The Gaming Club's bonus out (casino) and see how it went. It gave $180 bonus on a $150 deposit and you have to wager the bonus and deposit 15 times each. This works out to $4950 (not too bad compared to the rest of the industry). I started out with $330 then and am down to $250 after wagering only $700. Am I going to lose everything here or am I just on a downswing? I could still abandon the bonus and pull $80 of my $150 out if the risk of ruin is too high.

The rules seem favorable. Dealer stands on soft 17, split twice, double after splitting, blackjack 3:2, surrender on any two first cards (atlantic city rules basically). Any thought on my chance of going bust/coming out on top (over $150)? Thanks in advance.

Atlantic City doesn't offer BJ with surrender.

Ride it out. It is amazing the swings in blackjack so don't get discouraged. I have gone so far as to tape a piece of paper on my monitor so I can't see how much money I have. Just count the hands, play more than they ask and move on. Even if you don't make a nice score on this casino bonus, there are others out there to take down. The thing to remember is that they are not really giving your free money but a free shot to make a good score. Take the shot, if you miss, find another shot to take.

Good luck........

To start if you did 1200 x $4 hands your risk of ruin would be about 5%.

If you stick with $4 hands for another 1000 hands your risk of ruin is about 15%.

If you do $2 hands for 2000 hands your risk of ruin will be about 2.5%.

If they have the new viper with auto-play then $1-$2 hands is the way to go.
