First Time at Turning Stone

Hey all,

I am making my first trip to turning stone January 30th.

I really am not looking for any specific information, but perhaps just any general tidbits of information and/or advice that you can give?

I will be staying in the hotel Friday and Saturday night and playing in the NL $25 tourney as well as at the $2-$4 & $3-$6 tables.

The only suggestion I could offer is to get up early Saturday morning to get in line to register, as there is a limited amount of seats in their tourneys.

Keep the suggestions coming please. Restaurants? They hassle you if you bring a outside/unmarked alcohol beverage?

Don't forget your "poker card". They charge you $2.00 for this card, you have to have one to get a seat. After 4 hrs or so, you can take this card to the floorman, they will give you $5.00 off food (which is pretty good).

Also, you do not need to post when you enter a game.

Wow, You mean that if I enter a game I can play till the blinds hit me? Sweet.
