View Full Version : 6-12 Win rate or why play middle limits!

Hi everybody.

My question is whether you think my results in 6-12 are possibly sustainable. I have been trying to play bigger limits (mainly 15-30) but lately I have not been doing so great and would really prefer to play 6-12 for awhile. Now as you can see below I've won a bunch at that limit but I was wondering if you think it is possible to sustain this kind of win rate. It seems like it might, because so much money goes in the pot compleatly dead or close to it and I'm usually the best player in the game by far, as opposed to the 15-30 game where much of the time I feel like a mediocrity. Embarrassingly I dont know my standard deviation...........

I am not the greatest poker player in the world by any means but my results are $30.5 an hour at 6-12 over 527 hours, $29.5 hr 15/30 443 hours, $25.35 hr 10/20 236 hours, $6.8 hr 20/40 95 hours, $17.75 hour 9/18 89 hours, $21 hour 10/20 half kill 52 hours.

thanks in adavance for your opinion.

totally true especially if even one player in the game is there to just totally donate.

one of the reasons to be very friendly and joke around because these players are there to have a good time and will stay longer and burn more chips if theyre having fun.

Your results are sensational. Since your win rate is so high, and you're more comfortable at $6-$12, why not just stay there?

Later, if you find that the results become less exciting, or you get bored, you can always move up.

Statking will compute your SD automatically. I'd encourage you to buy it.

Thanks Guys,

I'll definitely keep at it. I'm glad nobody posted that it was impossible.
