My congratulations on your dubious accomplishment.

I hereby challenge you to a match against a more worthy adversary, the 2004 King Of The Zoo leader, mosch.

Bring the thunder!

Since we kicked your guys butts in both the tournies you should be much more humble. I recommend you start by licking the BOSS's boots.

In keeping with the SS tradition of consistently whooping up on the Zoo, I accept this challenge and will once again show the zoosters who is really boss. (pun absolutely intentional) Having witnessed "double down" mosch's infamous play with 92 /images/graemlins/heart.gif , this will be a hard fought battle but we all know, J3 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif beats 92 /images/graemlins/heart.gif

Game on.

Heads up, KotZ vs BoSS. I had to spot the king a handicap by making the tourney NL but its all good. We know the SSers are the true players. So the date is set. Tomorrow, 9pm, UB, 50 + 2.50 heads up, no-limit hold 'em tourney. We'll post the table when we get into it as it is unsponsored.

It's basically over (we were embarassed unless a miracle occurs). Under HE SNG tourneys. Near the bottom

As heads up NLs tend to be with fast escalation, it was a quick tournament. It started out very well for me, first hand AA, 2nd hand KQs turned top pair, rivered 2 pair, 4th hand KJs, flopped broadway. A dubious and very questionable call took away my chip lead, but I built it back up till the key hand of the match...

Blinds 10-20, I raised to 40 with Ad6d and mosch comes over the top to 60, I call. Flop comes 6h 4c 2c (maybe 3c). mosch bets the pot (120) and I raise to 240 with my top pair he calls. I'm planning on moving him in on the turn if it isn't scary or isn't a club, I may anyway if its a club. Turn comes 8h and mosch moves in. I think and think and think and am pretty sure he missed that flop and wants me to fold or he wouldn't have moved in, I think and think and think as calling will leave me only T210 but decide I'm ahead and maybe well ahead with my A kicker and call, he turns over AhJh for the 2 big cards and 4 flush. the river 7h changed everything though and ended it for all intents and purposes. I lost a few chips to blinds then went into all-in mode. Won the first, but when Ac6c went up against 87o, the 8 on the flop and 7 on the river ended the tourney. Well played both ways, it was a bit of sparring at first then the action took off.

Well played and congrats mosch.
