I had a ninteen hour 3-6 session from 11:30 AM to 6 AM at viejas (indian casino)

I played tighten then I usually do. My standards were pretty much J-10 or better, 22-88 for one bet, 88+ for two. I would layed down tons of suited Ax, as high as A8s.

My general idea was to ditch the crap hands, invest in the good ones and win a couple large pots here and there.

Playing that tight let my rack last me 19 hours, and at one point I was up to $240 (shoulda walked) I ended up going bust at the end, had a 2 hour drought and then my last 40 went to the fella whose A high flush beat my K high.

I figure I can play rags on the BB, and the weak hands on SB and thats 2/9 hands right there, so why invest anymore in the garbage. I used to like the suited connectors 56s or better, but that dont show profit long run.

What do you think?

PS I was still up for the day(s) I was there because after live I played the 25 dollar tourney and made the final table, where we each chopped and got %275

There are several books out there which give solid guidelines for starting hands, taking into consideration (this is important) your POSITION at the table. Check the books forum for more info.

without worrying about your results, i think your requirements are too rigid. you need to adjust your play to the situation: what position are you in, how many people are in, who if anyone raised, etc. etc. all of this is important.

also it seems you're playing too many "big" offsuit cards. hands like JTo and KTo are just not very good.

It's rare that anyone should actually play LO0SER than they are now. Mostly they should tighten up, as a general rule.

i have played at viejas before, lots of times. During the day it tends to be rock city. I generally avoided viejas during the day. At night it was generally a bonanza. I was a little suspicious of your folding so many suited aces. In the LOOSE variety of viejas games, I usually played them, perhaps not for a cold call raise tho in a pot that was likely to get heads up tho.
