This was a hand played by my brother on Party last night:
Table has been crazy, money flying everywhere for the last hour or so. Main perpetrator has been bluffing almost every pot with massive overbets (25 into 1.9), and gleefully showing J6o when everyone folds. The hand goes down like this:
Maniac raises to three pre-flop, Hero calls with 44 on the button. Flop comes down 9 9 2 (suits not important)
Maniac bets 25, Hero calls all-in (plays made by brother not endorsed in any way by this poster), figuring he has the best hand at this point.
Turn is a 10, River 10, putting two pair on the board and leaving the hero with a 4 kicker. As i'm sure you can determine, our hero now beats exactly two hands: 33 and...
Maniac shows 23o, hero takes down a 50 dollar pot.
