Was wondering about my stats and would like some opinions. The one I'm really wondering about is the pots won at showdown. 77% seems like its way too low. Am I paying off on the river too much or is this about right? These are all from 1/2 to 3/6 online.

(The site the stats are from is Pokerstars.com. Dunno if this is a copyright issue or anything.)

1215 hands played and saw flop:

- 50 times out of 170 while in small blind (29%)

- 109 times out of 164 while in big blind (66%)

- 149 times out of 881 in other positions (16%)

- a total of 308 times out of 1215 (25%)

Pots won at showdown - 66 out of 85 (77%)

Pots won without showdown - 67

1,215 hands? How long is that? About 20 hours of online play?

Your stats should become meaningful at about 500 hours (maybe less?) of online play. Until then, you shouldn't gather much valuable information from them

If these were long-term numbers, winning 77% of your showdowns would be remarkably high, especially in mulit-way showdowns. It may actually be too high. It could be a sign that you are folding too much on the river with medium-strength hands.

I don't know how relevant it is, but I have found that the tournaments I do well in I have showdown percent > 50%, while if it is low I do poorly.

I would expect ring games require a higher showdown %.
