100$ vs 300$ chips

Just read the lengthy post about the quality of the chips one can order on amazon. Someone mentioned different sound and feel on these ~100$ sets vs some ~300$ sets. One can find better quality sets than the ones for ~100$ at ebay? And if so, recommendations on where to buy them?

And there only seem to be the standard ones that is up for sale. suited or dices. I sure would love to get my hands on chips that looks like the ones you can see on the left side of the UB software.

Do a search in this forum for "clay chips" and you'll find lots of discussion on this topic. I requested samples of chips from pokerchips.com and chipco.com. Both arrived within a week and I ended up ordering chips with custom artwork from pokerchips.com. Both companies have casino quality chips. Also, these may be more than $300 if you want 500 or more as they run $.50-$1.50 each depending on what you want on them.
