suited cards on the button

I was in a loose game, and somewhat on tilt as a new guy had just joined the table and busted me for two pretty big hands so i really wanted to beat him. Everyone limped except for one folder and I limped with T2s on the button. Luckily I got 2 spades on the flop and another on the turn and my hand was good.

Here's my question - How bad (good?) a call was it to limp with T2s on the button with 9 other limpers and about 0% threat of the blinds raising? Other suited cards?

All you can hope for with this hand is two pair or better, or a flush draw to the fifth nuts. This hand might merit completing from the SB with 5+ limpers in front and no raise, but I can't see myself ever limping with it on the button.
