Same Foxwoods 5/10 Kill, we are still on the Kill and playing 10/20. Super loose-passive preflop game averaging 6 to the flop for one bet, Kill or not.

UTG limps, I limp w/8 /images/graemlins/club.gif7 /images/graemlins/club.gif

4 limps behind me the SB completes the BB is the Kill blind and checks.

Flop:

J /images/graemlins/heart.gif:9 /images/graemlins/spade.gifT /images/graemlins/spade.gif

I flop a jalopy. Jalopy's are junk cars that go down hill fast.

SB checks, BB checks, UTG bets, I raise, 3 cold-callers, SB and BB fold and UTG calls.

Turn: A /images/graemlins/club.gif

UTG checks, I bet, the 3 cold-callers call, UTG calls.

River: 4 /images/graemlins/spade.gif

UTG checks, I bet.

Anyone do it different? Fear the /images/graemlins/spade.gif?

Thanks in advance.

Peace,
Joe Tall

Limp too?

It was the perfect f-king game, soft soft. Preflop raises only came from me and that elderly gentlemen named AL w/the FPC ball cap.

I just said the other day that I play less suited connectors in EP than most, but with one limper ahead of you in a super loose game, that's an easy limp. Seeing UTG and UTG+1 limp will often set off a limping chain reaction, like it did in this case.

Preflop raises only came from me and that elderly gentlemen named AL...

You mean 90+ years old Al that swears like a sailor? I love that guy, he always cracks me up.

In the game you describe I'd play the same way.

I get 2-callers...

and my hand was GOOD!

This game is one the softest at this level around. Real good stuff.

How can you do it differently? You're likely against a mix of drawing hands and top pair, but who's to say they're not busted straight draws? If you check your straight now, you might as well just fold it because someone behind you is going to represent. So you bet and if you get reraised then you call it down and take your lumps. You knew flopping a straight was going to hurt.

I like it. Glad it worked for you.

I'd write "Yawn", but I don't do that. So, I'll just say:

Routine.

Yup, that guy. The "Holy Shizzt" when the board pairs on the turn.

Since Joe posted just a couple of days ago that he only limps UTG (and rarely there), this is actually big news.
