pretty routine to me, but I DON'T CHECK THE TURN. I showed aggression, I want to follow it up, unless I want to induce the bluff on the river. But If I hammer again on the turn, he MAY throw away a Jack to the aggression.

True, he MAY throw away the jack but to my experience in .5/1 most people will at least check-call to the river with any piece of the board.
