Harrah's Downtown.

Oh, and by the way, LSU is a National Champion!

That is correct. Southern Cal is also A National Champion!

BTW: USC people hate being referred to as "Southern Cal."

Southern Cal owes its co-championship to its big market status. The mighty Tigers would dispatch the Condoms with ease. /images/graemlins/cool.gif

There are innumerable very nice hotels in downtown New Orleans. Anywhere in or near the French Quarter or the CBD is plenty close to Harrah's. I recommend one of the major hotels on Canal Street.

i always see people on this site write dollar amounts like this

5$ , 100$, etc...

it just looks weird to me, isn't the correct format

$5 , $100, etc. ?

are you not a native american? maybe that's it.. or maybe both are acceptable? anyone?

I guess University of South Carolina people would hate being calling "Southern Cal" /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I wish we could have seen SoCal/LSU - Oklahoma was pathetic in their last 2 games.

For years, University of Southern California was referred to only as Sourthern Cal, east of the Miss.; of course, USC generally meant University of South Carolina.

However, Southern Cal insisted upon being called USC. In the early 1990's Southern Cal even issued an edict that it shall not be referred to as Southern Cal. This was (rightfully) laughed off by the media.

I hate Southern Cal, and my lame team had the pleasure of beating them this year in triple overtime.

You might find that there are more Omaha games than Holdem. Also there is `half-and-half' (alternating one round of each). Harrahs has about 15 tables I think.

Also there are some unconventional betting structures.

`1-4-8' means spread-limit: blinds 1&2, PF 1-4, F 1-4, T 1-8, R 1-8.

`4-8-12' means fixed-limit: blinds 2&4, PF 4, F 8, T 12, R 12.

They have 15-30 and even pot-limit Omaha.

Come to think of it, they may have standard LHE at 3-6 or 6-12.

PS Southern Cal may have a national Championship, but LSU has THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

PPS ON 10/18/03 LSU BEAT USC 33-7.
