i planned to wager some money to get the bonuses offered at some online casinos. does anyone know how strictly online-casinos handle their bonus policies or do the casinos make any problems when cashin out the bonus?

I have dealt with two online services. Both of which I liked and both of which paid me off. Both of which SUBTRACTED off the bonus money from my 1st payout. I was shocked the first time, but I guess it is common practice.

Vinny, this is not common practice. What casinos did this?

It depends on the casino. Most casinos don't let you cash out the bonus until you have wagered a certain amount of money (known as the wager requirement or play-through requirement).

I have a website at http://www.geocities.com/advantageplayeradvisor/index.htm with info on the bonuses offered by specific casinos and how best to obtain them. Be forewarned that it is an affiliate site, but the information there is accurate and useful.

did you fail to go through the play through requirements, or did you fail to thoroughly read the Terms and Conditions of the bonus, or did the Casino screw you?

Some places offer a bonus which is non-cashable and is subtracted from your balance the first time you withdraw. However these so called "sticky" bonus can still be plus EV as you can make bets that pay you off on both your deposit and bonus, but only risking the deposit.

In order from best to leats ... just the ones i have used:

http://www.betonsports.com
http://wager.betoninfinity.com/
http://www.sportsbetting.com/

(Sportsbetting only did 1st time)
I also think the other two are related, but they had different lines on baseball.

I do not gamble casino games (black jack, slots, craps) online. When I called and said "You jipped me the $100 bonus" they responded with "we do not pay out the bonus, only the winnings on the bonus." Which made no sense, but I did not argue.

I did argue on time when I went 5-0 for $1300. The internet was jammed and would not take the bets. I called the 888 # and bet. woke up the next day and the money was not in the account. I call and they day that I never "double confirmed the bets." He read them back to me with the lines, then I said "that's it." and hung up. I heard the tape. For some reason they had a rule where I had to agree.

They paid half the winnings and I took the deposit the next day. I will not mention any names, but the site involves sportsbetting.

(and yes, i know what i am doing. I've bet through bookies for over 15 years, at one time professionally. But that was my first (& last) on-phone overseas bet.)
