So, the other night...a black man stands up and calls table service asking for 3 crackers... Really wanted to tell him that the room was full of crackers...

Thought it was funny.

The cocktail girl brought him his crackers. I was cracking up the whole time.

No one else seemed to notice the humor in a 6'2" black man in a fedora and black overcoat with the HUGE pyramid calling for crackers...looked to me like he found 'em.

In the deep south of the US, some white folks are known as crackers.

You'd sort of have to have been there to appreciate the humor.
