only 250 hands into it so no REAL feel as of yet.

HOWEVER

Games are about 5% tighter and at times slightly more aggressive. However - still a lot of dumb and crazy players. Perhaps MORE then in 2/4.

Had one guy play 85% flops and win a TON - not from me. Every ELSE won from me LOL.

I will feel more comfortable at this level once I get used to the swings. I'm down $150 but only because of a few good hands that were cracked and 3 hands that were taken on the river by players that NEVER should have been there (just like 2/4 LOL).

As I said - only 250 hands so I'm not really making any judgements except . . slightly tighter and at times slightly more aggressive by some players that really don't have the hands.

Thanks - actually went back and won $100 back and THEN went to bed. The main difference is that at 2/4 I always had 5 fish, 3 normal and 2 tight/passive .

3/6 (so far) 4 fish, 3 normal, 2 tight/passive 1 tight/aggressive.

However - I got a UB sign up bonus and sign a friend up bonus ($200 total for $200 purchase) and have been playing 1/2 short handed and am up $125 LOL! WOW!

3/6 in a couple days.

are you playing 3/6 at party or UB as well?

I've only play UB 2/4 and 1/2 short handed and think I might never change LOL took down 75BBs my 1st day there. Worse players they party.

I was always at a table where a guy must have read a book that said fold or raise. He was on AUTO raise pre flop with rags.

It seems after the other 5 players realized he was smoke and mirrors we took it to him. Took an hour but he busted out and the table broke up soon after, we discussed it and said we would take EACH others money at a later date. We never talked during the session but once he left the air went out of the balloon.

Don't take last night as normal on UB. All the good players were doing something else last night. I went up $100 playing $.50/$1

It was great but don't expect it to be that easy on a regular basis. The only reason I even played was because I got an email offering a 50% deposit bonus for deposits on new years day. I consider myself lucky and I am taking that $100 Profit OUT OF THERE and leaving a little for playing microlimits when I am bored.

I agree - ruff place.

BTW - one bad thing about playing 3/6.

Last night - Party - 14 hands - down $120 LOL AND - I'm not mad. WOW

KQs late flop 78Q guess what one guy had 77, another 88,
NEXT hand TT flop AAT guess what a guy had AT
NEXT hand (honest) QQ flop rags and a guy gets a flush on the river

Down $75 in 3 hands! Not mad because I play all the hands correctly but had bad luck. \

What I'm getting at is you lose a lot when things go bad. BUT it works the other way also. Still, 2/4 is more comfortable (after losing 120 in 14 hands) but 3/6 is beatable.

i havent jumped to 3/6 yet but i remember how nervous i was moving to 2/4. my first attempt i won 150$ the first day then lost 150$ in 2 hours the next day before deciding to go back to 1/2 until my bankroll hit 1K. a month later i moved up and ive been there for 1-2 months now. i should have moved up to 3/6 by now but i cashed out 600$ for christmas so im still right at 1k. ill wait till 2k for 3/6. i will say this-ive been playing a little 1/2 while bonus whoring and the games have definitely gotten tougher than 2/4 imo. they still arent THAT hard but there are not as many fish chasing all the way to the river like 2/4.
