Ok - I've got what is probably the most basic question posted on this forum, but it seems that people definitions change a bit from post to post.

What are the actual table positions' definitions?

To be more specific:

If you were to number the positions on a poker table from 1 - 10 with 1 being the small blind and 10 being the button, how would the numbers correspond to UTG, EP1, EP2, and so on?

Thanks in advance,

1 = sb
2 = bb
3 = UTG or EP1
4 = UTG+1, or EP2
5 = UTG+2, LEP, EP3
6 = EMP, or MP1
7 = MP2
8 = LMP or MP3
9 = Cutoff, or CO
10 = Button

Thanks Jezebel. That's what I'd deduced from the posts here, but like I said - they seemed to change at times and wanted to get the information straight.

Thanks again,
