2+2 meet up at Foxwoods on Saturday Jan 3rd.

There seems to be some interest in a meet up at Foxwoods Saturday Jan. 3rd. The usual is to meet up during the day then take a break from the games around 6PM to all go out to eat. Please respond to this thread if you are interested.

I tried to start a thread to this effect a few weeks ago and got zero response, but I'm heading over Jan. 8 (Thur) and will be there for several days. I'd like to meet other 2+2ers, so I'm up for some type of get-together. You might want to try to start a fresh thread; I was geeky enough to check someone else's about Foxwoods, but I may be the only (other) Tunica regular who did /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Well, if this goes correctly we might have two Jersey guys. I will contact Bunky and ask if he wants to meet up and take a ride.

I drive from NJ to NY to meet up with poster/lurker Fred G Sanford. We then take the 2.5 hour drive to the north. I drive a total of 4.5 hours to play poker, when I can drive 45 minutes and play. However bad the driving sounds, its worth the trip because Fred and I always have a good time when we visit the 'Woods.

No, just the Cowboys jersey. I've waited through plenty of 5-11 seasons with a coach from my alma mater not to enjoy the playoffs. Besides, I endured 1-15, Barry "we're gonna do it baby" Switzer, and the rest of the lot. I was a fan when Danny White was completing passes to Tony Hill and Drew Pearson, with Randy White and Ed "Too Tall" Jones on defense. I've earned the right to wear that jersey!

I'm glad a fair amount of us met up. Foxwoods is so crazy now that we'll never have a sit-down again, it seems. Plus it is certainly -EV to get up from you seat and get bumped back to the list to spend money eating.
