The "Little Drummer Boy" duet between David Bowie and Bing Crosby has got to be up there. Bruce Springsteen's "Santa Claus is coming to town" is a good upbeat one. The Carpenter's and Nat King Cole's "Chestnut roasting on an open fire" are very good too.

Merry Christmas to all....

Drummer Boy and We Three Kings by any good traditional sounding group with choral and orchestra.

And of course, A'Soalin' by Peter, Paul & Mary.

It's definitely my favorite David Bowie/Bing Crosby duet.

Merry Christmas!

Check out Michael Crawford (of "Phantom of the Opera" fame) doing "O Holy Night" on his Christmas CD. You've never heard anything like it. Trust me, this one song is worth the price of the CD (and given today's date, maybe you can find a copy on sale!).

Do You Hear What I Hear, by Destiny's Child
My Little Drum, Vince Guaraldi Trio
Come All Ye Faithful, by Kevin Connolly

Honourable mention to Santa Baby, by Eartha Kitt.

The Connolly song is well worth Kazaa'ing. It's a completely different arrangement, like a folk song. Recommended highly.

The mere fact that no one's even mentioned 'Christmas In Hollis' by Run-DMC makes me want to stay off 2+2 forever.....

Favorite Christmas-time song, Adam Sandler's "Happy
Hanukkah."

[Drummer Boy can make me tear-up, as well as a few other classics.]

PS. I wish Two-Plus-Two would offer a Bass Clef as a posting icon (alongside the Happy Faces and whatnot). It would be so appropriate for threads like this one.

Father Christmas is my favorite. Honorable mention to Please Come home For Christmas, and 2000 Miles.

How could no one mention "Santa Baby" with the all-time best ever Christmas Song line of "so come on down my chimney tonight"???

Maybe, but no one's ever heard of it, so it doesn't really count. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
