Here is my favorite line from the article "Namath serves as a goodwill ambassador for the Jets. " You just have to love the irony!

Read the article here Namath offers kiss, later apologizes (http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/story/6949759)

He didn't say anything mean and he made many people laugh. I thought the ironic part was Suzy Kolber "accepting" his apology. The gracious thing to do would have been to say no apology needed.

She was very gracious on the air. She could have made a big deal then, or after, and I'm pretty sure Namath wouldn't have been the goodwill ambassador to Siberia.

I enjoyed the way Joe Theisman tried to cover up for Namath. "Joe's a happy guy. He's just a happy guy."

....so Joe Willie might bring some of his "bims" to Theismann's over-rated restaurant in Alexandria, VA next time he's in town /images/graemlins/shocked.gif
