Party 6 max I have been playing for about a week and so far I have only won 11 percent of the hands I have played. My flops see percent is only 28 percent so I am not gettgin many playable hands. But even so this win percentage seems reall low, is it? When you are running "normal" what percentage do you expect to win?
thanks

28% hands played winning 11% sounds ok to me

i dont think there is a standard "normal" figure - the game can be played different ways

if its 6 handed in the typical party 1/2, 5/10 school my stats would be similar

I don't quite win 11 percent, more like 9 percent, although I see about the same number of flops. However I am pretty weak-tight. I don't like bluffing, since I tend to look for games where people will call down to the river with any pair. I do win, quite a bit, but perhaps it is due to my payoff artist competition along with my willingness to ram and jam when I do have a good hand.

Punker do you have the numbers for how often you are leading in with a raise vs limping or coldcalling?

Thanks

I see around 33-35% of the flops and win 23-23%. Usually if I win less than 10% Im losing and 14 or higher the deck is running over me.

Yeah in November when I wanted to clear bonuses and not play seriously I played on tables with you, and dude you are the rocks rock. If you bet hard run to the hills. Not that the party short table crackheads would notice.

LOL!!! You're so right though. I have definitely loosened up before the flop, however. I now will play unsuited AK and pairs JJ and QQ, and if I'm really feeling like a LAG, AQ off!!! /images/graemlins/laugh.gif
Anyhow I decided I would never be able to beat good players at a short table and I now play mostly PLO and NL 30/3 SNG's. Both are quite rock-oriented games (besides being fun and profitable).

Am I doing something wrong?? This is at $5/10, 6 Max tables.

Vol. Put $ in pot: 15.1%
Won $ when saw flop: 39.66%
Won $ at showdown: 61.22%
Preflop: Raise - 10.72% Bet - 0% Call - 5.78% Fold - 73.12%

I have only played 1,200 hands at this level but I have been averaging 7.33 BB/100 hands pretty steadily so this ultra-tight strategy seems to be working well so far. Doing a confidence Interval at 80% shows I'm making a modest minimum of 2.73 BB/100 hands (with a maximum of 11.93 BB / 100 hands). My only fear is this strategy wont hold up at the higher limit tables... anyone have any thoughts on my play so far at the $5/10 level and how it will hold up at higher levels?

you need to get 10x more hands before you can say much

I played 1000 hands today, and if my results from today were indicative of anything, then I would have to find a new job.

You'll need about 50x that many hands before you can say much, and even after that, get back to me when you lose with every pocket pair above jacks you're dealt for 2000 hands.
