LOADED! As soon as he came on my friends and I said something about it. Then he came out with the 'kiss' comment.

Funny stuff.

Peace,
JT

It was remarkably unprofessional for ESPN to put Joe Namath on the air when he was obviously drunk. What was ESPN trying to accomplish? They certainly didn't think Joe was going to give any insights into either the game or the Jets organization in the years to come. It was a low-class move by ESPN which only made a Jets hero look silly on national television. Some producer at ESPN should get their ass handed to them over this.

It appears to me that Broadway Joe made a fine job of making himself look silly without any help from ESPN. Last time I checked he was an adult. This was a good thing, it shows these (quote) heroes (unquote), are mere humans and should never be worshipped. It was closer to a public service than to a travesty.

I've heard it from more than one person that Madden sounds like he's getting plastered as the game progresses on Monday night. Pat Summerall rehabbed for alcoholism as I assume he drank when he worked with Madden in the booth.

I don't know. I read somewhere once that Madden doesn't touch the stuff.

Why is this ESPN's fault? Namath knows he's an icon of the game and as such has to expect ESPN to talk to him on camera. He chose to get drunk and act like an idiot.

So, who do you think is hotter, Suzy Kolber or Melissa Stark?

If we're going free-form, I choose Jillian Barberie.

Is there any doubt? Melissa Stark is way hotter.
