$30 PP SnG. First hand. I'm on BB, hold A2. Almost everyone calls, I check it in.

Flop comes 345 2-suited. Two people push in. Do I call, or fold?

Results to come.

Call, hope that the turn and river blank off, and if you're up against 67, take solace in the fact that you invested no time in this tourney, so your per hour rate won't suffer too badly. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hi eastbay,

Fold. Never move all-in at the sucker end of a straight.

But what do you do if you're up against 2 6 <g>?

I folded. An overpair TT and 43 two-pair shown. I only felt moderately cowardly at that point.

You're grinning, but in fact the winning hand was a 43 two-pair.

Actually I would have gone all-in. A really good chance to triple up on the first hand would be much too tempting. It would be much more likley that you were facing trips, high cards and two pairs than the higher straight. If I lose I just laugh it off and join another SnG quick. If I win, I'm really laughing a strong favorite to dominate the proceedings.

Hi eastbay,

I think you made the right decision, the results notwithstanding. I know that's what I'd have done.

Against the typical moronic plays in these online events, I'd call.
