Actually this might be a quesiton about cardrooms. I play 90% online and will go to the Bicycle Casino about once or twice a week where i play 4/8. I feel that blind stealing is very unprofitable because of the way they drop rake. If you do steal blinds they take 1 dollar from u for the jackpot and lets say im on the button with A5 and open raise and the bb protects his blind and calls, when there is a flop, they will drop 3 for rake and 1 for the jackpot regardless of pot size. It seems like when its down to two players, its very unprofitable taking away a whole sb from the pot.

My Question is how do u adjust to this, do u even attempt to steal blinds with marginal hands?? Actually are games like these even profitable if the game is not super loose? And is this the same for all cardrooms and all limits??

Im very used to online where they do not take any rake for small pots and in cardrooms if you tip the dealers, you even lose more money.

steal much less often and PM Rick Nebielo (spelling is wrong) and complain. He's a rake activist and works for the Bike. you don't win 6 for stealing the blinds, you win 5 or 7 if he calls with a much bigger risk for loss. Its becoming nearly unprofitable.
